Fabio Cesare

Fabio Cesare, partner of MCM Avvocati since 2005, has a consolidated expertise in insolvency law and as a court-appointed administrator.

Identifying innovative solutions, he assists companies in a state of crisis and investors, both domestic and foreign, in debt restructuring and in overcoming situations of financial stress, including through turnaround and distressed M&A transactions.

Ga has handled several restructurings already under the Crisis Code and, in particular, has advised on several negotiated settlement processes.

He is a point of reference in the reflection on the over-indebtedness crisis, a subject in which, in addition to being the author of several monographs and scientific contributions, he has managed and judicially liquidated several over-indebtedness procedures at the Court of Milan.

He was among the first lawyers appointed as an expert for negotiated crisis settlement ex DL 118/2021 by the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, Monza Brianza and Lodi and is manager for several crisis settlement bodies.

He collaborates on an ongoing basis with several bankruptcy receivers and with the Prevention Measures Section of the Court of Milan and Florence. He has received assignments for companies affected by preventive seizures.

He regularly participates as a speaker at conferences and seminars on over-indebtedness and crisis law; he is a lecturer on corporate crisis and banking law for prestigious publishers and professional schools such as Giuffrè, WoltersKluwer, SAF (Scuola di Alta formazione Luigi Martino dell’Ordine dei Commercialisti di Milano) and Fondazione Forense and has edited several volumes on the subject of competition.

He was heard at the Chamber of Deputies and Senate for study days and in-depth studies on the Crisis Code on behalf of the Milan Bar Association.

He is a columnist for the daily newspaper Sole24ore.
